Chaddesley Corbett lost by three wickets
CHADDESLEY slipped further into a relegation battle in the Worcestershire League Division One, after a narrow defeat to promotion chasing Stourbridge on Saturday.
Defeat ensured that Corbett hover dangerously over the bottom two in the division.
They are now 14 points ahead of local rivals Droitwich Spa, who are second from bottom.
On Saturday Corbett were bowled out for 178, with Wood taking 4-21.
South Arican Rohan Vorster was the most effective of Corbett's bowlers - taking 4-64.
Corbett face a difficult game on Saturday against mid-table side Eastnor (1.30pm start).
