A THIRD Sinton Day Football Course will take place at Evesham High Sch-ool between August 8 and 11.

Former England stars Peter Bonetti and Andy Sinton will be joined by fellow coaches Bernard Day and Simon Parry and other coaches from the professional game.

All aspects of the game are covered with specific goalkeeping sessions and, in previous years, more than 70 boys and girls have benefited.

There are various competitions including American shoot-out, penalty competition, goalkeeping competition, King of the Ring and many more skills related exercises all with trophies for the winners.

The school was started three years ago for Evesham United in conjunction with the High School as part of the school's ongoing work in the community as a sports college.

"I always enjoy coming to Evesham, the kids are very committed and take a great deal from the week," Bonetti declared.

Registration forms are available from the sports hall at the Four Pools centre or by ringing 0121 382 1099.

Players with Evesham United can obtain forms from their team managers.

Summing up, Sinton concluded: "The standard of players at Evesham is very good. Our sessions are based on the professional game but the players in Evesham, boys and girls of all ages, manage and thrive on them producing some quality performances."
