BUDDING performers in Worcester will be encouraged try a singing experience with a difference this weekend in a bid to raise cash for charity.
Birmingham-based deaf awareness charity Music in Motion will be singing along to recorded songs in the city's CrownGate Shopping Centre on Saturday using sign language, and inviting shoppers to have a go too.
The charity performs sign-singing all over the country to raise awareness of sign language and to raise funds and participants will be helping to raise cash for projects including schools for the deaf and hearing dogs.
Centre manager Carolyn Mantle said: "I'm pleased to invite Music In Motion to CrownGate.
"The charity does a fantastic job in raising awareness of the barriers faced by those who are deaf in a fun and entertaining way, and I'd encourage shoppers in Worcester to come along and have a go at something new."
Saturday's event is due to be staged from 9.30am to 4.30pm at Bell Square in the shopping centre.
