BIG-voiced singers have also shown their big hearts after making a generous donation to our appeal.
Cum Sing Wi' We, who regularly raise money for charity by singing their repertoire of traditional songs in public, have pledged £200 towards Operation Covert.
The £200 comes just a week after the Shuttle/Times & News reported the group had made a donation towards treatment for Stourport youngster, Jake Woodward, who has cerebral palsy.
Founder, Ray Weston, said: "We were so keen to help the youngsters because when anything like that fire happens to the Scouts then that is quite a knock for them.
"We raise money for all kinds of charities but when we see a local charity that needs a bit of help then we help out."
The group has raised about £96,000 since it was formed 16 years ago, with collections at performances in nursing homes and pubs as well as concerts in the streets of Wyre Forest.
