VOTERS keen to find out who won last week's General Election in Wyre Forest helped raise £18 for our appeal.
Residents were asked for a minimum donation of 25p for a special election bulletin produced by the Shuttle/Times and News team, which featured all the drama from Thursday's count.
One of our first customers was the victorious Dr Richard Taylor, who was re-elected with a majority of 5,250.
Shuttle/Times and News editor Clive Joyce said: "We worked through the night to produce the special bulletin so that our readers could find out the result within hours of it being announced."
