POLICE are warning people to be vigilant after a woman's handbag was stolen from a Kidderminster park.
She had put the bag down under a tree in Springfield Park and it was stolen when her child distracted her for a few minutes.
The Indian-style red, yellow and green handbag with sequins on it, contained a wallet, keys and a Ventolin inhaler.
A police spokesman said: "It is always concerning when medication of any type goes missing and we would appeal to anyone finding this to hand it in to the nearest police station.
"We also want people to be aware that this has happened and to take extra care of their own belongings when out and about over the summer."
Anyone who was in the park, in Stourbridge Road, on July 14, and noticed anything connected to the theft should call Kidderminster police on 08457 444 888.
The 0800 555 111 Crimestoppers number is also available.
