THREE Kidderminster teenagers have been forbidden by a judge at Worcester Crown Court from contacting a youth they had admitted harassing.

Giving them a conditional discharge for 18 months, Judge John Cavell told the trio their conduct was unacceptable.

He made an 18-month restraining order preventing them from contacting, communicating or assaulting Gareth Morgan.

Stephen Shewrey, 19, of Offmore Road, Adam Phillips, 17, of Wordsworth Crescent, Offmore Farm, and Liam Foster, 16, of Doverdale Avenue, Comberton, had initially been charged with intimidation.

The charge was not proceeded with, however, and they pleaded guilty to harassment.

Tim Harrington, for Shewrey, pointed out that his client, a man of good character, had spent several weeks in custody.

Phillips had previous convictions for criminal damage, aggravated vehicle taking and drug offences.

Foster had one conviction for possessing cannabis resin.
