TOM Kenderdine won the third round of the Worcestershire mid-week summer 10k race series, at Droitwich, which puts him in first place overall for the series, with one round remaining.
There were 11 athletes from Kidderminster and Stourport Athletics Club competing in the event.
Club results: 1 Kenderdine 33 minutes 26 seconds; 32 Stuart Grainger 40-0; 34 Dave Hunt 40-07, 38 Jacqui Phillips 40-55 (second lady, first veteran 35), 39 Collette Maynard 44-21, 65 Dave Carter 44-44, 74 John Taylor 45-20 (second vet 60), 84 Roger Russell 47-14 (third vet 60), 94 Ron Payne 50-21, 96 Pat Fletcher 50-26 (third vet 40 lady), 121 Mick Hudson 59-54.
Steve Smith and Russell travelled to Worcester on Sunday to take part in the Pitchcroft 10k race, which comprises three laps around the outskirts of the race course, on a mixture of tarmac and sand/gravel.
Result: 22 Smith 39-42, 57 Russell 44-14.
