Well-known faces faces from stage and screen are coming together for a farcical frolic in Cheltenham.

Former Bond girl Britt Ekland is heading the cast list for Just Desserts, a new farce by Marc Camoletti which completes his farce trilogy after Boeing, Boeing and the huge hit Don't Dress for Dinner.

The new story revolves around Bernard, who discovers his wife has been having an affair. He decides to take revenge on her lover, Robert, by inviting him to dinner where he must bring his wife for Bernard to seduce.

Bernard has a grisly end in store for Robert if he doesn't comply, so Robert hires a high-class hooker to stand in for his wife - but then the real wife turns up and the fun really begins, with all the crazy mix-ups and confusion you would expect.

Starring alongside Britt Eckland is Malandra Burrows, who spent 17 years as Kathy Glover in Emmerdale, as well as one of Britain's finest farceurs, Giles Watling (who was Vicar Oswald in Bread), Sabina Franklyn, who was in TV's Full House and Keep It In The Family, and West End actress Anita Graham.

The show runs from next Tuesday until Saturday, August 6, at Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre. Tickets are also on sale for a theatre taster session after the matinee on Thursday, August 5, when people can talk to the cast over tea and biscuits.
