A talented young Malvern musician will display her skills during a concert at the Malvern Theatres.
Cellist Heather Uren, 16, performs with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, on Tuesday, August 2.
Heather, a former Malvern Parish pupil, will join the orchestra for its first concert in Malvern since 1996.
Tippett's Ritual Dances from A Midsummer Marriage, Paul Patterson's Orchestra on Parade and Elgar's First Symphony are on the programme, with the concert starting at 7.30pm.
The orchestra, with musicians aged between 13-19, performs at venues across the country and features in the annual BBC proms.
