L SPITERI may try to combine Christianity with Socialism (Wednesday, August 3) but in truth Socialism is satanic and a denial of everything in Christianity.
Socialism attacks the Gospel of Jesus Christ by denying man's innate wickedness and by seeking salvation in politics. It attacks the law of God by denying property rights and encouraging envy. Socialism undermines the family by increasing the power of the state into people's lives.
Socialism and its illegitimate daughter the welfare state are cancers that have been poisoning our society for decades.
