IT'S said everyone needs good ones - so now it's the time to recognise them.

Marches Housing Associa-tion is reminding its tenants that they only have till the end of this month to make their nominations for its Good Neighbour of the Year Award 2005.

The annual award scheme, which is open to residents living in more than 2,600 Marches-managed homes across Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shrop-shire, recognizes those people who have gone the extra mile to help others.

Marches managing director David Hinchliffe said: "This annual award is our way of rewarding those tenants who selflessly make an effort to help others in their community.

"Some may have put in a lot of work to keep their area clean and tidy, while others may have lent their support to others such as single parents, or elderly neighbours, and these things can make such a difference to people's lives.

Nominations need to be in by Wednesday, August 31, and the winner, who will receive vouchers worth £100, will be announced in September.
