POPULAR musical Thoroughly Modern Millie is coming to the stage of a Midland theatre.
Running from Tuesday, April 5 until Saturday, April 16 at the Birmingham Hippodrome, the show stars Lesley Joseph (Birds of a Feather, Vagina Monologues) as the eccentric Mrs Meers, the proprietor of the Hotel Priscilla.
With a highly talented cast of more than 25 actors mixing original West End production and new cast members, a 10 piece orchestra and a set taken from the original West End show this marvellous musical is promised to dazzle audiences.
The show is the story of a young girl from Kansas, Millie Dillmount, who travels to New York in search of a new life for herself in the Roaring 1920s.
She's a modern woman who has a plan - find a place to stay, get a good job as a secretary to a very rich man and then marry him. Of course nothing quite goes according to plan.
Tickets are priced from £10 to £32.50 and are available by calling 0870 730 1234 or online at www.birminghamhippodrome.com. Booking fees apply and concessions are available.
