AN energetic blend of folk and country music will be served up at Worcester's Marr's Bar this weekend as the group Clearwood play a gig there.
The band formed 18 months ago and have already built up a considerable following in the area with their live shows and laid-back, tongue-in-cheek presentation.
They perform regularly in Worcester and their next appearance in the Faithful City will be at the Marr's Bar on Sunday, April 3.
The line-up includes three vocalists, guitars, mandolins, fiddle, whistle, harmonica, double bass & drums, although - curiously - there are only five members!
The set combines original material with a few classic songs and a number of lesser-known tunes presented with the band's distinctive slant.
A support set comes from Christopher Rees, whose heartfelt lyrics are intricately woven together with a backdrop of strings, piano, drums, bass and more.
Doors open for the gig at 8pm and tickets are £5 on the door.
