SO there will be Elgar celebrations in 2007 to mark 150 years of the composer's birth.
Wouldn't it be nice if we had a concert hall in Worcester to hear orchestras play his music for us? The car parking space in Copenhagen Street would be an ideal site. We could also have lighting along the riverbank behind the Cathedral. What a wonderful setting that would be. A concert hall - is that too much to ask for in Elgar's city?
