THEY liked it so much, they're doing it again. Great Witley Operatic Society is to repeat the formula of its Golden Jubilee concert, which had audiences enthralled at Worcester's Swan Theatre two years ago.

Billed as A Celebrity Gilbert and Sullivan Concert, the production will feature five popular soloists, all of whom are former principals of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company.

Jane Dodd, one-time principal soprano for the GWOS, will be joined by fellow soprano Patricia Leonard, tenor Stephen Brown and bass soloist John Ayldon.

The musical director, accompanist and compere for the evening will be multi-talented David Steadman.

"The concert is being repeated at the request of the former D'Oyly Carte principals themselves, because they enjoyed it so much, as well as our regular Gilbert and Sullivan supporters," said Jean Glover of GWOS.

It takes place at the Swan Theatre on Sunday, September 26 at 7.30pm and a few tickets are still available from the theatre box office on 01905 611427.

"As soon at this concert ends, we begin rehearsals for our next production, Ruddigore, which will be at the Swan in May next year," Jean added.

"If anyone would like more information about the Society they can phone me on 01905 641648."
