THE Waterboys will be playing a live acoustic gig at The Civic Hall, Wolverhampton, on Sunday, October 24.
The band, who have been going for two decades, move through the worlds of rock and folk music.
The Waterboys are led by guitarist, songwriter and singer Mike Scott, and feature Irish fiddler Steve Wickham, and English piano maestro Richard Naiff.
This autumn the band are embarking on their first ever fully acoustic tour of this country and Ireland.
They have already toured across Europe acoustically this year, to rave reviews from audiences and critics alike.
