PEOPLE can "party like it's 1999" in Worcester tonight as The Dr Teeth Big Band pull out all the stops to see in 2005 with a gig at the city's Marrs Bar.

Former bouncer and heavy metal singer Dr Teeth moved all the way from Chicago to front to this wildly-swinging nine-piece band, who perform originals as well as standards from the likes of Ray Charles, Louis Jordan and Duke Ellington.

The band has been bolstered by an expanded horn section, with Andy Derrick joining on trombone and - together with brand new material and show-stopping jive choreography, the band look set to take the party to the next level.

Their material salutes the vintage era of swing and jive music, with jump-jive, boogie woogie and rhythm and blues all here for what promises to be an entertaining night.

Tickets for the event are £15 in advance or £20 on the door.
