I RECENTLY had occasion to make a purchase at the Currys store opposite Halfords and next door to Wickes.
I could not believe the disgusting state of the area around these three stores. There is litter, bottles, cans and various other rubbish on both the lower and upper car park areas.
Surely it would not be beyond stores of this prestige to arrange together to keep what is in fact, their front yards, in order?
Even if these stores do not have the will or interest in taking action, would it not seem appropriate to put pressure on Redditch Council to have the area maintained? They must pay a huge amount in business rates.
It is not difficult to see what an improvement there would be in the area.
