WITH reference to the letter about a former Rover employee of 62 being employed by the Plumb Centre, it's good to see one business disregarding age in employing John.
I wish all businesses would follow their example.
I, at 54, find it hard to get a job. Age does seem to be a barrier that some employers will not cross.
But did being an ex-Rover employee give him an advantage?
I know it sounds like sour grapes but the JobCentre seemed to go all out for the ex-Rover people when there are other unemployed people who could do with help.
