BELBROUGHTON'S Matthew Morris missed the cut at the Cadillac Russian Open over the weekend.
Morris, making a step up from the Challenge Tour to the European Tour for the second week in a row, finished the event 137th.
He missed out on the final two rounds at the Le Meriden Moscow Country Club after recording an eight- over-par score of 152.
Morris started the tournament by recording a five-over-par round of 77.
Despite improving with a score of 75 on the second day the Belbroughton player still missed the cut.
Sweden's Mikael Lungberg, who finished 15-under-par, won the tournament.
Former tennis professional Evgeni Kafelnikov also failed to make the cut on his European Tour debut.
Kafelnikov, who was more use to playing at Wimbledon, finished 155th (second from last) after hitting 40-over-par.
