GIANT kangaroos bounced into Droitwich to give Spa children a taste of Down Under during their summer holiday.
Lido Park, in Worcester Road, played host to the mammoth marsupials yesterday (Tuesday) as part of Wychavon District Council's programme of free summer events.
The show, called Icarus in Roo'd, saw the furry friends bounding around the park at 11.30am and 2pm.
People in costumes and on stilts performed as kangaroos for all the family.
Wychavon leisure officer Sue Healey said: "You don't normally see giant kangaroos bounding around the park. We're delighted to be bringing a hint of the unexpected to Wychavon.
