Our talk was titled allotments in Birmingham.
Adrian Stagg, the allotments administrator for Birmingham City Council, opened with a very interesting history of the establishment of allotments and Eddie Campbell, an allotments co-ordinator, told us about some of his day-to-day experiences with the some 7,000 allotments in the Birmingham area.
Their talk was illustrated by a short video and slides. Adrian closed an enjoyable evening by detailing their plans and hopes for the future.
