ONE Tuesday recently, someone put out with their rubbish a tin of gloss paint - wrapped in a black bin bag - which exploded all over the collector, someone's car and our newly tarmaced road surface.
This was bad for everybody, but I want to say thank you to the staff of the city environmental department who came - almost immediately - to sort out the mess.
I believe their names are Howard and Henry. They couldn't have been faster or more courteous - but the whole department should be congratulated for excellent service.
