The committee held its August meeting and invited members of other WIs in the Bromsgrove group.
Ann Day, of Catshill WI, gave a talk on the wonderful craft of quilt making and amazed us all with her eye for detail and colour.
Ann also took along part of the craft collection from WI House, including some museum pieces which were admired by all.
A competition for a piece of patchwork was won by Ann Part, while the door prize was won by Val Wheeler.
The fundraiser for the village hall was also very successful and £230 was raised.
