A week after a young boy was burned on a canal bridge in Worcester, police are trying to find out about what happened.
The police will be stopping people on the canal towpath just off Wordsworth Avenue in Perdiswell tonight to see if they remember anything about last Wednesday's incident.
Meanwhile, 11-year-old Johnny Baldwin, who suffered 30 per cent burns to his chest and abdomen, has been taken off the critical list.
There were fears for the Warndon lad's life, but the Swansea hospital where he is on a specialist burns ward yesterday confirmed he was in a stable condition.
Police hope to talk to Johnny soon to find out exactly what happened. He told rescuers children had set him alight.
Enquiries have received a huge response from members of the public.
