A TOP in-line skater from Droitwich returned from America with two medals. MEDAL WINNER: Jack Clarkson, aged 15, won silver and bronze medals with Great Britain.

Jack Clarkson, aged 15, was Great Britain under-14's top scorer as the national team won silver and bronze at the Junior Hockey Olympics.

Britain reached the quarterfinals of the international section in New Orleans before losing to USA South 8-1.

However, they won bronze medal by defeating USA North 4-0.

Team GB though bounced back when they won silver in the competitive category.

Great Britain defeated Team Excalibur Black 5-4 and lost in the semi-finals to Palm Beach Jackals 4-1.

In all Britain won ten of their 14 matches, losing just three.

Father Jim Clarkson said: "No body expected Great Britain to do as well as they have done.

"It was an extra-special performance by everyone."
