RIVALS rolled up their sleeves and battled it out - but don't worry no blood was spilt, instead it was water being splashed about during a charity raft race in Worcester.

The Sabrina Raft Races were organised as part of Worcester Festival 2005 and saw 10 teams from city-based businesses rowing their hearts out across the Severn.

They had to row from one side of Sabrina Bridge to the other, collect a team-mate from the other side, then race back to the other side in the quickest time.

Organisers Worcester Tourism Association will put the money raised into attracting tourists.
