A WEBHEATH talk show fan found herself at the centre of the action after appearing as a guest of American TV legend Jerry Springer, on his ITV show.
Sharon Johnson, 22, agreed to take a lie detector test for the controversial daytime programme, entitled "Cheating Partners", after her partner of five years accused her of being unfaithful.
She said: "I didn't know what to do to make him believe me, but after spotting an advert for the Jerry Springer Show on television, I decided to go for it."
The mother-of-three travelled to Manchester for the filming and was asked four questions while connected to a lie detector prior to the show.
She said: "Two of the answers came up 'deceptive' but the other two showed I was telling the truth.
"I wouldn't say the show sorted out our problems, but it certainly put some things into perspective."
Sharon, who hopes to study performing arts at NEW College in September, said her television appearance, screened last week, was "nerve-wracking" but presenter Jerry Springer put her at ease.
She added: "He was very sympathetic to our problems and is a lovely person both on and off the screen."
