DOMINIC Jelfs impressed in the latest round of the Halesowen Track League
The Bromsgrove Olympique Cycling Club rider, who is also a member of British Cycling Youth Talent team, pipped clubmate and George Bate to the 800m.
Ted Bate, aged ten, won the 240m dash, while 14-year-old Genny Billington was third in the sprint race. Genny's father, Ian Billington, was third in his sprint event. In the Kerry Youth Tour in Ireland George Bate and Jelfs finished in the leading group while riding in the under-16s section for the West Midlands team.
