VALE racer Simon Andrews finished eig-hth in Sunday's two-part British Super- sport race at Silv-erstone.
Andrews, riding his TAS Suzuki, finished more than 12 seconds adrift of winner Pere Riba's Kawasaki and took great confidence from his efforts on the International Circuit.
"I'm not 100 per cent happy with my form just yet but that was better today," Andrews (left) ann-ounced after the race.
"I had a few mom-ents with the front but I'm still building my confidence and speed. I didn't get a great start but I got stro-nger in the closing stages which shows that my fitness is good."
