A HEADTEACHER of a Bromsgrove school has retired after teaching there for 31 years.
Tecwyn Richards left Finstall First School in Carnforth Road, and invited all the children, parents and friends of the school to a special farewell picnic with a clown, juggler and a balloon release.
Colleagues and friends of Mr Richards gathered together to give him a specially commissioned painting showing the old and new Finstall School buildings.
He was also presented with a Mountain Ash tree from the children, as well as three large books in which all of his pupils had written their fond memories of him from over the years.
