I WILL find it hard to believe, if I am the only person who read Councillor Andrew Christian-Brookes comments and was totally disgusted and appalled by his direct assault on Droitwich residents.
His claims that hard-working families want to see value for money for their hard earned cash is true but he later describes the new Riverside flats and the new Worcestershire flats and yet another supermarket to go with the two we already have... hardly things the hard-working families of Droitwich want, more like what Wychavon District Council gains from these developments.
He continues to use the word troglodytes... Who is he actually talking about or is he not man enough to name names?
Is it members of the council past or present? Or does he mean the 4,000 or so residents who voted to save the lido in the parish poll? An answer would be nice.
I am glad he was highly amused to read the letter from Mrs L Nash... glad people of Droitwich at least achieve something in the Wychavon ivory towers... making the councillors laugh!
From a Captain in the British Army... born and bred in Droitwich and supporter of the lido campaign... does this make me an 'out of touch' backward socialist/liberal troglodyte Cllr Christian-Brookes?
Your continued verbal assault is totally unacceptable and the next logical step has two phases.
A written apology to the majority of people in Droitwich that you have insulted and then your resignation from Wychavon District Council.
In such a high profile position in the public eye comments like Cllr Christian-Brookes are simply'out of line'.
