Bromsgrove Rovers 4 Rushall Olympic 1
AN injury to defender Ross Collins took the shine off a comfortable victory on Tuesday night at the Victoria Ground.
Collins was taken to the Alexandra Hospital with a back injury, after a clash with goalkeeper with Lee Evans in the 38th minute.
In a bad tempered game midfielder Scott Hadland led Rovers with two first half goals.
The midfielder headed in Mark Benbow's left wing free kick in the 26th minute.
A minute later Hadland was on hand to slot Chris Smith's rebounded shot past Olympic goalkeeper Ryan Price.
He also missed a penalty after Price brought down Dean Curtis.
Smith made the game safe with a cross-shot in the 35th minute.
Joe Williams replaced Collins in the 46th minute.
Curtis slotted Smith's low cross home in the 74th minute, before former Rover Marcus Jackson smashed home an 82nd minute consolation goal past Evans.
