THANK you Nick for your 'constructive' reply to my letter of the previous week. In turn, I am perplexed at the logic of your response.
Firstly, I have studied Bromsgrove history in a great deal of depth and would not need to visit the local library as the books and journals are here at my house. However, we are not talking then but now - I actually quite enjoy living here in Bromsgrove but I think we should be constantly striving to make it a better place. It cannot remain in the past, though we should honour that and celebrate it.
In fact we could do even more to re-fashion the town to do just that.
As for 'shutting up' or returning from whence I came, that is just silly - I am just expressing my views in a democratic society! That is especially so given your next comment about campaigning. Surely a newspaper is an authentic forum? I agree Nick, let us all campaign and get things better!
