WELL done and all the best to Cheryl Jalloh who ran in the recent Race for Life at Sanders Park.
I did it with my friend Sue in June at Cannon Hill Park and it was tough - but I did it. I did it in the memory of my mum who died six years ago through cancer a week before my birthday.
You don't realise the devastation you go through until it happens to you. I had breast cancer myself last year and I am still fighting it now. You don't think it will happen to you.
I know Cheryl from the Bluebell Group we go to every month and she is so brave, but you get stronger at times and change with time, although there can be more bad days than good times.
Well done everyone who took part and take care. Life isn't fair sometimes.
