BROMSGROVE are looking for players from the past to help celebrate their 50th anniversary of moving to Finstall Park.
The club is set to celebrate 50 years of playing at the ground on Saturday, September 10 and has invited members of the team which played the first game at Finstall in 1955 to lunch, before Bromsgrove's West Midlands Division One West match against Burton
Bromsgrove particularly want to get in contact with John Rathbone, who lived in Rednal during the 1950s, Redditch resident Percy Walsh and Tony Moon, whose parents ran a shop in Sidemore.
Chairman Phil Amphlett said: "We are trying to get hold of as many of that team as we can.
"Moving to Finstall was an important moment in the club's history and it would be great to get some of the players from that era along."

l The club's popular mini and junior section, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, is holding its registration day on Sunday September 4 at Finstall Park (10am start).
The club is set to celebrate the milestone with a special event at the club on Saturday, October 1, which will include a match against Kidderminster.
Since it started in 1975 with two teams the Boars' junior section has expanded to under-7s right through to under-16s.
If you are interested in joining the club come down to the registration day on September 4, new players are always welcome.
