BROMSGROVE tied their match with Halesowen in the Worcestershire Sunday League First XI Division.

The Boars' opponents made 213-9, but Paul Duffy led Bromsgrove's reply by hitting 77, as they made 213-8.

Barnt Green were far too strong for Swindon as they notched up a 133 run victory.

Steve Williams (115) and Kieran Rees (68) got amongst the runs as Barnt Green recorded a formidable 286-2.

Wood then took 3-28 as Swindon were dismissed for 153 all out.

Leaders Droitwich continue their good form in the league by defeating Barnards Green by six wickets.

Green were bowled out for 143 and Spa made 145-4 in reply.

In the Second XI Division Bromsgrove went down to Coombs Wood by 64 runs.

Spa's opponents made 277-5, while Bromsgrove were kept to 213-6 in reply.

Barnt Green's second string lost by 14 runs to Swindon.

Swindon made 208-9 and the Green could only make 194 all out.

Droitwich suffered a six-wicket defeat at the hands of Barnards Green.

Spa had been dismissed for 171 all out, while Barnards made 174-4 in reply.

Title chasing Ombersley slipped to a 28 run loss at the hands of Bretforton.

Davies made 116 and Passey 67 as Ombersley reached 298-3.

However, Bretforton replied with 326-6, inspired by Witts' 105.

On Sunday, August 28, Bromsgrove take on Barnt Green at home in the First XI Division and Droitwich entertain Feckenham, with the fixtures reversed in the Second XI Division (all matches 2pm start).
