INJURED Redditch United pair Scott Rickards and Sean Flynn face a race against time ahead of this weekend's double header.
Boss Rod Brown hopes to have them fit for Saturday's match with Lancaster City and Monday's trip to Northwich Victoria but admits their chances are little more than 60-40.
Groin strains ruled them out of Saturday's victory at Vauxhall Motors but the manager hopes that a week's rest will do the trick.
Veteran John Williams partnered Craig Wilding in attack and Brown was delighted with the 39-year-old's contribution.
"He did well and that was probably the biggest plus for us," the manager admitted. "He held the ball up well and that is something we have been missing.
"It was good to get the three points and I think that will give all the players a lift ahead of the Lancaster game."
The 2-1 win at Vauxhall Motors gave Reds their first points of the season and the win came courtesy of a last minute own goal.
"We had worked hard during the week, rolled our sleeves up and tried to scrap out a result," Brown added. "We had a bit of luck with the goal but had worked hard to force the error."
