BROMSGROVE Rovers thumped Rushall Olympic 4-1 at the Victoria Ground.
The game, however, was marred by an injury to Rovers defender Ross Collins, taken to hospital following a collision with his own goalkeeper.
Scott Hadland put the hosts ahead on 26 minutes and got the second a minute later.
Chris Smith's cross-shot beat Ryan Price on 35 minutes and Hadland had a penalty saved three minutes after that.
Collins was then clattered by Lee Evans as the Rovers stopper challenged for the ball and play was delayed for five minutes.
Dean Curtis got the fourth 16 minutes from time and Marcus Jackson netted an 82nd minute consolation.
