ANCIENT bones and artefacts were uncovered during building work on a house in Bleachfield Street last week.
Police were called to the 200-year-old property after builders unearthed what were believed at first to be human bones and teeth.
But when they were taken to Warwick Museum, experts identified them as pigs teeth, cows teeth and cattle bones.
There was also a clay pipe and small bowl, which are believed to date from the 17th century.
The finds have been returned to the owner of the house.
