SOUTH Worcestershire Police are investigating a suspected diesel spill on a road, which happened before a serious accident.
Two men were injured when their cars were involved in a head-on collision on the Ombersley to Droitwich road, near Hadley, at about 10.20am on Monday.
They were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital where the condition of the driver of the silver Ford Fiesta Finesse is believed to critical.
The driver of the blue Renault Kangoo van is believed to be suffering from extensive bruising and suspected fractures.
The road was blocked for three-and-a-half hours following the crash.
The police have appealed for witnesses and anyone with information about the spillage on the road to contact PC Mark Simpson on 08457 444 888, quoting incident number 64C/220805.
