BROMSGROVE Rugby Club's first Powergen National Trophy tie sees them travel to Whitchurch on September 3.

The two clubs have both been promoted from the Intermediate Cup after the Powergen Cup became the Anglo-Welsh Cup and the other competitions were re-structured as a result. Luctonians play host to Spalding on the same day in the National Trophy.

In the Intermediate Cup, Pershore travel to Aston OE, Kidderminster Carolians play host to Newport, Malvern visit Ludlow, Ledbury entertain Shrewsbury and Hereford make the trip to Telford Hornets.

Matches are scheduled for September 17.

In the Powergen Junior Vase, Hereford-based Greyhound and Stourport have been handed trips to Standard and Wheaton Aston respectively in the preliminary round on September 3.

If Stourport are successful, the will travel to Bromyard.

Also involved at the same stage are Worcester Wanderers, who visit Dronfield, and Droitwich who travel to North Derbyshire.

Chaddesley play host to Burntwood. All the first round ties take place on September 17.
