ADRENALIN junkies are invited to a special event to mark 25 years of BMX in Redditch.
Some of the world's top BMX riders will perform jaw-dropping stunts at the event at Redditch Skatepark on Sunday from noon.
According to the founder of the Icknield Street skatepark, Steve Rooke, the British BMX craze started in Redditch with the first track opening on August 30, 1980. The current skatepark, opened in 2000, was built next to the old track.
Mr Rooke said: "BMX has its UK roots in the town so we're going to celebrate this with a big event. We are especially looking for people who used the BMX track back then to come along"
Entrance is £5. Call 524550 for details.
