PEOPLE aged 55 and over can squeeze on the tights and strap on the leggings ready for a dance class aimed specially for them.
Chance to Dance is a course of weekly classes being staged at the Malvern Theatres complex, led by a professional dancer.
They take place in the Forum Theatre, on its sprung floor and include gentle exercises to improve flexibility, co-ordination and strength, followed by short dance sequences.
The cost of the course also includes tickets to three performances by top contemporary dance companies which are visiting Malvern over the autumn season. They are Motionhouse Dance Theatre, ACE Dance and Music and the Richard Alston Dance Company and class members will have the chance to discuss the shows in class.
The classes run in two terms from September 5 to December 12 and all enthusiastic dancers are welcome, with the scheme supported by Worcestershire County Council and Dancefest.
Tickets are £35 per term, including the theatre tickets. Call the box office to sign up on 01684 892277.
