KINDHEARTED restaurant manager Giles Carless will be living up to his name when he goes car less for a charity bike ride.
Giles, who works at the Harvester in Lickey End, is taking part in a 20-mile cycle today (Wednesday) to boost funds for the Make a Wish Foundation, which grants the wishes of terminally ill youngsters.
Giles will be joining 17 other managers of Harvester restaurants and area manager Nigel Buckland. They will be cycling from Great Barr to Sutton Coldfield.
The team hopes to raise £5,000 through the event. Anyone who wants to sponsor Giles can pop into the Birmingham Road restaurant or phone on 872063. Cycling equipment for the ride has been donated by Halfords in Bromsgrove.
