PET lovers are in for a treat when the Blue Cross Animal Adoption Centre holds its annual dog show.
This year promises to be another bumper success with some classes being sponsored by the Advertiser/Messenger. Among them is a class for best child handler and best veteran dog. Other attractions include a craft market with 30 stalls and an arena to entertain all the family with eagle owls, ferrets, giant bugs and spiders and a circus workshop.
Christopher Jarrey, from the estate agent Andrew Grant, will also be on hand to value porcelain at £1 a piece with a maximum of two pieces.
Centre manager Neil Edwards said: "We raised £7,000 last year and hope to top that total this year."
The show will be held at the centre, in Wildmoor Lane, Catshill, on Saturday, September 3, between noon and 4pm.
To contact the centre for further details or with a view to taking in one of the many homeless dogs, contact Mr Edwards on 0121 453 3130.
