AT the August meeting, Olive Mason was thanked for organising the very enjoyable outing on July 20 to the lovely gardens at Bryans Ground, Presteigne, and Stockton Bury, Leominster.
Our talk for the evening was titled the birth of a dream. Rob and Diane Cole told us about the hard work involved in setting up their nursery at Meadow Farm.
At the same time they were continuing their business of growing thousands of hardy perennials and also designed and planted their own new garden. An amazing achievement!
Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 14, at the village hall, Chaddesleigh Corbett, 7.30 for 8pm.
Duncan Straw, of Perhill Nurseries, Great Witley, will be talking to us about late perennial plants. Visitors are always very welcome.
