THIRTEEN members of the Evesham District Disabled Club met at a private lake near Evesham for their annual charity match that this year raised funds for the Spinal Foundation, which is based in Oldham.
The foundation has treated both the club's chairman and the lake's owner.
Participants got a £10 sponsorship to fish the match and good weights were had by all.
The eventual winner was Jerry Akerman who was presented with the charity shield by Mr and Mrs Clive Harman who donated the trophy.
The club has now received all the sponsorship money and are pleased to announce that the match raised £447.
