DEFEAT on Monday ensured that Bromsgrove CC are still in danger of relegation from the Birmingham and District League Division One.
Defeat means the Boars, now fourth from bottom, are only five points away from the relegation zone.
Against Kidderminster Bromsgrove could not surpass their rival's impressive score.
The Boars' bowlers were smashed around by batsmen Knappett (75) and Wood (116 not out).
Nick Husbands was the best of Bromsgrove's bowlers, taking 50-2, while Mark Bagley took (2-91).
The Boars' batsmen had no answer to Kidderminster's bowlers, with Jordan Rose (16) and Paul Duffy (27) the most effective of Bromsgrove's top order.
Bagley top scored with 30 runs as Bromsgrove were bowled out for 127.
The Boars take on third placed Water Orton at home in a crunch game on Saturday, September 3 (12.30pm start).
